“This table will allow the public to meet military families who feel betrayed by our government,” said MFSO member Suzi-Sutherland Martin.
Suzanne Brownlow, of MFSO and Believers Against The War, said, “This war has continued far too long because the average American is unaware of the toll it has taken on military families whose loved-ones are excessively and continually deployed to Iraq.”
We invite members of the military, their loved ones, and all travelers to stop by our information table to learn about the cost of the Iraq War and the effect it has had on military families. And, we also offer our support to families who have felt betrayed.
Volunteers Needed: We need at least two volunteers (military families) who can staff the MFSO table at the Portland airport at 3:00pm-5:30pm each Sunday. This is a great opportunity to introduce the public to military families who do NOT support the war. This will be an ongoing effort, throughout the year, while the war continues. Please contact Suzanne Brownlow at suzanne@runtherace.org or (503) 310-4577 to volunteer.
