Portland, OR – Several members of the Oregon Chapter of Military Families Speak Out (MFSO) and Gold Star Families Speak Out (GSFSO) will be traveling to Washington D.C. January 25-29 for meetings at congressional offices and to join the national Rally and March on Washington, Saturday, January 27.

Oregon families with loved ones deployed, returned, injured and killed in the war in Iraq will also be meeting with their representatives to ask them to Support Our Troops by De-Funding the War, Bring Our Troops Home Now and Take Care of Them When They Get Here.

Michelle DeFord, whose son, Army Spc. David Johnson, Oregon National Guard, was KIA 9/25/04 says, “There is no military solution for Iraq. Keeping our troops there and sending more will not fix the situation and it will not honor my son’s sacrifice.”

MFSO/GSFSO is a non-profit 501c(3) organization with over 3000 members nationwide dedicated to supporting our troops by ending the occupation of Iraq and bringing them home NOW!
