3,000 U.S. soldiers killed in Iraq
Published by admin January 3rd, 2007 in BlogOn the afternoon of New Years Eve, 2006 marked the death of the 3,000th U.S. troop in Iraq. Military Families Speak Out members across the country and around the world are filled with grief and sadness from the continuing, needless loss of the lives of U.S. troops and Iraqi children, women and men in a war that should never have started.
On this tragic occasion we call on the incoming 110th Congress to honor the fallen and prevent further deaths by taking immediate action to end funding for the Iraq war. Not one more day, not one more dime, not one more life, not one more lie – end the U.S. military occupation of Iraq, bring our troops home NOW, and take care of them when they get here.
Hoping for a better 2007 and in the expectation that our elected leaders must end the occupation of Iraq.
